Hello, I'm David Heim. I've been using SketchUp nearly every day for more than 10 years. And I'm the author of SketchUp Success for Woodworkers.
I've created these videos to help more people learn to use this very cool program. SketchUp is a 3D design program. The people who developed it called SketchUp CAD for the rest of us. But compared with other CAD programs, SketchUp is much easier to learn and much cheaper to own. And it makes a great tool for woodworkers. You can use it to generate absolutely accurate measured drawings, and it lets you preview what you want to build in the computer. So, bottom line, you'll work faster in the shop and make fewer mistakes. So you'll save time and money.
